EXPLAIN MORE THOROUGHLY THE CORRELATION BETWEEN NOAH’S FLOOD AND GOD’S CALENDAR-
Quoted from Don Roth’s Article: “Noah’s Flood and God’s Calendar”:
The chronological facts that are recorded in the account in the book of Genesis clearly establish a period of 385 days in the year of the Noachian Flood. This year length is significant because it is the exact number of days required for an excessive leap year in the Hebrew Calendar. This remarkable account of the Flood, which God inspired to be recorded in his Work, is the indisputable evidence that the Hebrew Calendar bears His stamp of approval. There can be no doubt that the calculations of the Hebrew Calendar have been the basis of God’s true calendar from the beginning.

What Are Postponements?
Postponements are a series of man-made rules not found in the Bible but are used by the ruling priesthood to establish the high day Sabbaths for the coming year. It was because they did not have a recorded, running calendar which began at creation, showing all the dates for the special Sabbaths. Therefore, there was no accountability for the days that they set.
The rules used were very involved, especially the one requiring the sighting of the moon. This was done to establish the authority of the priesthood. It wasn’t until a brilliant Jewish bookkeeper presented a calendar in 1838, based on mathematical calculations, that the postponement rules were no longer required. This math is the basis of the calendar presented here.

What Lands did God give as a possession?
BIBLICAL CALENDAR – THE LANDS GOD GAVE AS A POSSESSION
God told Moses that he gave the land of Amon to the descendants of Lot for possession. Deuteronomy 2:5 shows God gave Mt. Seir to the descendants of Esau as a possession. Now note in verse 31 of Deuteronomy 2, “And the LORD said to me, ‘See, I have begun to give Sihon and his land over to you. Begin to possess it, that you may inherit his land.’ “
God gives the land of the king of Sihon as a possession to Israel. Deuteronomy 3:1-2, “Then we turned and went up the road to Bashan; and Og king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. And the LORD said to me, ‘Do not fear him, for I have delivered him and all his people and his land into your hand; you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.” God also gave this land to the Israelites as a possession.” (As a confirmation, see Deut. 3:12-13)

BIBLICAL CALENDAR – GOD STARTS MOSES ON A MILITARY CAMPAIGN
God starts Moses on a military campaign to conquer the Promised Land on the east side of Jordan. This campaign begins sometime around the middle of the sixth month. This is established through the following scriptures: “Now when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, all the house of Israel mourned for Aaron thirty days” (Num. 20:29). “And Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month” (Num. 33:38).
Aaron died at the beginning of the fifth month and was mourned 30 days. Thus they started their journey to the Promised Land at the beginning of the sixth month. Deuteronomy 1:2 shows eleven days were required to arrive at Mt. Horeb. Numbers 33:41-49 records the Israelites had a total of eight campsites during these eleven days. The forth campsite after leaving Mt. Hor puts them on the border between Moab and the Amorites, placing them at the border of the Promised Land. This sets the travel time at about half of the eleven days.

What is the purpose of presenting this material proving the Biblical Calendar?
The purpose of presenting this material is to show the certainty of the Hebrew Calculated Calendar as the true calendar of God by constructing a progression of time by an unending sequence of seven day Sabbaths beginning with the creation week. When it is shown the weekly Sabbaths coincide with the HCC (Hebrew Calculated Calendar), the biblical accounts of creation, the flood and it’s Sabbaths in Gen. 7, the Sabbaths of Ex. 16, and the Passover of Josh, this confirms God’s method of keeping time and the true Biblical Calendar.
